We saw that there were winds from the east as we ate breakfast so we knew we should leave early.
I headed out by myself at around 6:30 am. The first 10 miles on Route 2 were chip seal. Also we had a gradual uphill with a slight headwind. At first I thought we were in for a long day.
I made it to the lunch stop in Readan about 10:30 am but no one else had showed up yet. This stop lasted about half an hour. I thought I should press on to beat the afternoon headwind.
Getting into Spokane was a little complicated so everyone met at a major intersection and followed Ken to the dorms at Gonzaga Univesity. At one point we connected to the Centennial Trail and got a glimpse of the Spokane River. Got to the nice dorms around 2 pm,
We will have our meals at the cafeteria.
Tonight I will got to the Spokane Airport to pickup Sean.
